Let me explain how this all works. We work with shelters that have the capability to quarantine. The shelters quarantine the dogs for us and take them to the vet. In return we have predicated rescues that will take the dogs. Our shelters have secured special vet pricing and the dogs are taken care of while they are in quarantined.

The rescues pay for vetting and in-house services (i.e.: worming, dhlpp, albon etc) but not for boarding. Believe it or not, I had a bunch of shelters jump at the chance to move their dogs to rescue with little or no muss or fuss.

When you tag a dog we pull them from the shelter as soon as we can. That could be a few days depending on what we currently have isolated at our homes. Those pups are kept in foster/quarantine homes for a minimum of 14 days. They are wormed as soon as we get them home and then again the week before the transport. We use both Pyrantel and Panacur for worming. We will email you a vet sheet showing the pups you tagged and the cost due based on what procedures you required for them.

They will have at least 1 set of shots before transport. They will come with a medical record.

Between 9 and 5 days before the transport date we take them to the vet for their health certificates. The vet will have a copy of the vet sheet that you have so that everyone knows, up front, what the charges are. On that day we will call you and you will need to call the vet and pay the charges, in full, by credit card.

We have secured low cost vetting. We make sure the dogs are healthy. Once tagged and the quarantine time is up, I do volunteer transport to you, or if you have another method we can make sure the dogs get where you need them. You would be responsible for the last leg in.

If crates are required, you will need to furnish those.
